This is a project that highlights about family communication and that bridging a neglected connection is never too late.
The plot shows the development of Yu Tong (main character) from a young & shy humanoid dragon to a older and more outspoken version of herself as she navigates her strained relationship with her cousins.

Idea & Concept: An older version of my main character, Yu Tong holding a golden globe to resemble the hope she carries. A hope where she wishes to bridge her relationship with her paternal cousins. The background - a gradient of red skies and imitating ancient China clouds to create the vibe.

Graphic Novel
An autobiographical graphic novel that contains most of the contents true to the my personal experience in the form of Yu Tong, the main character who is a humanoid dragon in the book.
This depicts my struggles growing up, being alone in a familiar yet foreign environment with no one my age to talk to and play with.

Idea & Concept: For the graphic novel, I wanted to mix the vibe of Traditional Chinese look with technology of the future, the Phone as a mode of communication between humanoid dragons while maintaining the mysticality of Chinese dragons with powers.
Promotional Poster (Social Media)
This is a promotional poster for Tiktok social media to promote the graphic novel and also highlight collaboration with Webtoon to earn free coins for readers next read.
Idea & Concept:
The older girl (main character) is her older self where she is more outspoken and willing to step out of her comfort zone, her younger self is seen as a spirit coming out from her , to show that it is a past version of herself where she is more reserved and quiet.
Whereas the phone, which my main character's older self is coming out from is a crucial element in my graphic novel where she steps up to make a change.
